I'm Andy Carter.  I’m a former broadcast journalist, who after a 17 year career in front of the microphone, made the switch from news to communications and PR in 2007.

My most recent assignment was as the director of communications and development at Northumbria University in Newcastle.  Previously, I was the head of communications at Leeds City Council.

Home is North Yorkshire, in a village nestled between the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales.

This is my site (obviously).  It doesn’t run to hundreds of pages (believe me, I’ve not got that much to say) but it does contain some information about me, what I do and how you can get in touch.
